چکیده
The signaling pathways regulated by mitochondria involve among others, the intrinsic apoptotic pathway, calcium homeostasis and reactive oxygen species signaling, ATP synthesis. aim of this review is to narrate importance flavanoids (e.g., flavones, flavonols, flavonols-3-ols, anthocyanidins isoflavones) in mitochondrial biogenesis. Therefore, induction biogenesis can be stimulated nutrition stimulating that are responsible for activating certain kinases such as AMPK, p38 MAPK Sirtuin 1, thereby expression PGC-1α conductor

Stress response signaling pathways may lead to mitochondrial biogenesis.
Diabetes, a worldwide epidemic, represents a major public health problem and the vast majority of the patients with diabetes presents with insulin resistance, a fundamental manifestation of this disease. Insulin resistance impairs glucose uptake into skeletal muscle, which takes up about 80% of postprandial glucose in healthy individuals (1). Thus, skeletal muscle plays an indispensable role in...
متن کاملSignaling of mitochondrial biogenesis following oxidant injury.
Mitochondrial dysfunction is a common consequence of ischemia-reperfusion and drug injuries. For example, sublethal injury of renal proximal tubular cells (RPTCs) with the model oxidant tert-butylhydroperoxide (TBHP) causes mitochondrial injury that recovers over the course of six days. Although regeneration of mitochondrial function is integral to cell repair and function, the signaling pathwa...
متن کاملSignaling pathways in melanosome biogenesis and pathology.
Melanosomes are the specialized intracellular organelles of pigment cells devoted to the synthesis, storage and transport of melanin pigments, which are responsible for most visible pigmentation in mammals and other vertebrates. As a direct consequence, any genetic mutation resulting in alteration of melanosomal function, either because affecting pigment cell survival, migration and differentia...
متن کاملFunction of specialized regulatory proteins and signaling pathways in exercise-induced muscle mitochondrial biogenesis
Skeletal muscle mitochondrial content and function are regulated by a number of specialized molecular pathways that remain to be fully defined. Although a number of proteins have been identified to be important for the maintenance of mitochondria in quiescent muscle, the requirement for these appears to decrease with the activation of multiple overlapping signaling events that are triggered by ...
متن کاملResveratrol protects cardiomyocytes from oxidative stress through SIRT1 and mitochondrial biogenesis signaling pathways.
Reactive oxygen species (ROS) is generated by oxidative stress and plays an important role in various cardiac pathologies. The SIRT1 signaling pathway and mitochondrial biogenesis play essential roles in mediating the production of ROS. SIRT1 activated by resveratrol protects cardiomyocytes from oxidative stress, but the exact mechanisms by which SIRT1 prevents oxidative stress, and its relatio...
